The first thing is this!
Can you build a shelter and can you build a simple hut?
- Make a frame by tying a long branch to two short branches with tough rope
- Wall the sides with smaller sloping branches and cover them thickly with fronds or other big leaves
- Make you shelter water proof by using some plastic sheeting that you should of brung just in case! If you do not have plastic sheeting you should layer the pronds carefully so the rain would run off.
- Once your shelter is finished you can put some extra touches in like putting in a bed made out of a couple of logs and then arrange them into a form of a sturdy base and driving pegs into the ground to stop them from slipping!
- Then you will be able to make a matress out of springy branches and soft leavesand cover it with saking to keep you warm!
